Location for Varifocal/Bifocal Measurements

To ensure optimum fit of your varifocal or bifocal glasses, several measurements are required to be taken whilst you are wearing your chosen frame. All measurements are taken by the business owner, Julian Gooddy, at our office just outside Oxford, for which we charge a modest fee. Included in our service are:

- Accurate electronic mono Pupillary Distance (PD) measurement (separate measurements for each eye).
- Fitting and adjusting frame to suit.
- Measurement of Fitting Heights for varifocal/bifocal/occupational lenses.
- Selection of lens shapes for rimless glasses.
- Advice on varifocal lens options and choices.

If you are sending glasses to Posh Eyes for reglazing and which already contain varifocal or bifocal lenses, we can take the necessary measurements from those lenses.
