Transitons XTRACtive lenses are photochromic lenses which go dark even when driving. Traditional Transitions VII lenses react to UV light to go dark. As car windscreens absorb UV light, these lenses have not worked well inside a vehicle. Transitons XTRActive lenses were launched to go dark when driving as they react to visible light rather than UV light. However, these lenses were available only in grey. Now Posh Eyes have extended the range of Transitions XTRActive to both Brown and the new Graphite Green colours as well as the traditional Grey colour.
