At Posh Eyes we have launched driving lenses from the largest prescription lens manufacturers in the world - Essilor, Hoya, and Zeiss.

Essilor's Eyezen with Crizal Drive, Hoya's Enroute and Enroute Pro, and Zeiss' DriveSafe lenses are available as single vision and varifocals, and are designed specifically for driving. They offer a wide distance and intermediate zone, and the latest anti-reflection coatings to minimise reflections and glare. Essilor's Eyezen is also available as photochromic (Transitions Xtractive NG) lenses. and Zeiss have an Ultra Thin (1.74 index) option.

We’re mid summer, so the reason for ordering driving lenses (driving in the dark facing incoming car headlights) is yet to be adequately tested. I’m still getting used to the slight yellowing of my overall view, even indoors. Until being asked to write this review I don't think I’d factored that into my consciousness. I’m not sure that I like it, so it’s definitely something to bear in mind if you are considering these lenses. (Posted on 28/06/2024)
